Team building: Culture Mapping (Boards)
The worldview ingrained in us by our own culture seems so obvious and ordinary that it's hard for us to imagine that another culture could do things differently.
Culture Mapping allows us to recognize phenomena typical to us but differentiate us from other cultures. We can initiate a dialogue, exchange experiences, learn, and eventually understand each other. It's also an excellent starting point for initiating a conversation when you begin to see the first signs of invisible psychological boundaries between groups. Symptoms that create an "us versus them" mentality.
===> Have you read the book The Culture Map by Erin Meyer and do you know all the concepts included in it? Great. Download the free boards, and you have ready-made retrospectives or workshops.
